An enterprise architecture is a blueprint that helps architects, developers and service owners understand how a company’s resources are interconnected and structured.

There are several EA frameworks in use today, but 4 of the most popular ones are

  1. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
  2. Zachman
  3. Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  4. Gartner’s Enterprise Architecture Method
